Child Safety Standards
Last updated: 15 October 2026
Waloo has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion and any sexualisation of minors.
Our standards
- Any content or behaviour that sexualises, exploits or endangers children is forbidden. See our Community Rules.
- Waloo is not intended for children under 13. Accounts of children under 13 are deleted when we learn about them.
- Contacts must accept a request before anyone can chat with or call them directly. Strangers cannot start a private chat.
- Every photo and video is checked on the phone for nudity and sexual content before it is sent or posted, and is refused if detected.
- Feed posts can be limited to contacts only.
How to report
- In the app: long-press the message and choose "Report message", or open the ⋯ menu on a post and choose "Report post". Then block the person.
- By email: write to support@gabacloud.com with the subject "Child safety report", the person's Waloo name, and what happened. Please do not attach illegal images.
- If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police first.
What we do
- Child safety reports are reviewed with the highest priority.
- Offending content is removed and offending accounts are permanently banned.
- We report confirmed child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cooperate with law enforcement as required by law, including Ethiopian authorities.
